We are dealing with the following.

BATIKI

Using tradtional batik methods, we hand dye a different range of fabrics to make a lot of our products like kanga, clothes, bags, table cloth and bed spreads.

COSMETICS

Zanzibar has a rich ancestral tradition of soap making using coconut oil and spices grown on the island . All our soaps as well as creams and massage oils are fabricated in our Kijichi workshop the very same way they were years ago.

SCREEN PRINTING

Our screen printing department offers made to measure printing services, for example printing your logo on t-shirts, bedsheets, hats, bags or purses, Get in touch to know more about this service.

LAMP

We offer a selection of three different size lamps all hand decorated with Swahili symbols and hand dyed in a range of Earthen colours.

KIKOI

After dyeing the cotton yarns, our artisan weavers use a traditional way to produce high quality vikois. These come in different width and length and can be tailored to your own colours.

WORKSHOP

We offer Arts and Crafts workshops for all age and all people. Come and learn how to make batiks, screen print your on t-shirt or make a nice scented soap with spices from Zanzibar. Get in touch for more infos.

The Mussa-gallery operates entrepreneurship, health and education programs in Zanzibar and works strictly with People recovered from substance abuse disorders from Zanzibar Methadone Clinics at Kidongo Chekundu Hospital.

WHY PWID/PUD

The burden of substance use is still great in Tanzania’s coastal towns and cities. Heroin is the leading type or drug that is widespread in such cities. Zanzibar being a major route for drug traffic, bears the consequences of spillover effects from these drugs. Owing to their vulnerabilities, the young people are the most affected populations, suffering from the myriad of health challenges due to the use of drugs.
